Katia Coelho is a Franco-Portuguese multidisciplinary artist. Born and raised in Paris 9, graduated in French literature from the Sorbonne, she worked as a fashion journalist for 17 years in Paris, notably for the Marie Claire group, while being artistic director of the magazine Dealer de luxe, which she founded and directed for 12 years.

In 2014, she made a 180° turn and moved to Lisbon where she experimented with ceramics and textile arts. At the same time, she created Casa Bohemia Algarve, of which she is now the creative director.
